Seemingly, this career change makes a move to North London unlikely this transfer window for the Spaniard as it seems a transfer down under is enough of a move for Alonso this year but he is not ruling out a move to Middlesex Cricket Club in London for the Cricket County Championship of England starting in April.

All very interesting what can happen in the window, especially since Alonso has only just signed a contract extension with Madrid this past week.
