Flamini Tips Wilshere For Greatness

Flamini Tips Wilshere For Greatness

The 21-year old Jack Wilshere was the center of attention in Arsenal’s 1-1 draw against West Bromwich Albion at The Hawthorns on Sunday. He was in the news for the wrong reasons as just days prior to the game, he was caught smoking outside a nightclub by the press.

That attracted unwanted publicity which led Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger to have a word with the English international. They seemed to talk it out and put it behind them, as Wilshere featured in the starting line up for the West Brom game. He again made the headlines, but this time for the right reasons as he scored the goal which earned Arsenal a point and maintained their status as the league leaders.

Fellow midfielder Flamini, who made a return to Arsenal following his spell in Italy with AC Milan, has backed the young star and believes that this minor bump is a thing of the past and is well and truly behind him. He also thinks that Wilshere is headed for super stardom, as it has been pointed out by several others previously as well.

ESPNFC report him as saying, “I think Jack was focused,”

“Things like that can happen. He is still young but the manager talked to him and it is behind him now.”

“He is a very talented player, has a lot of quality and plays in a great team. He has everything to be successful. He has proven to everyone that he has done well game after game.”

“He is doing well, of course, and he will improve game after game. Already, what he is doing is incredible. Everyone at the club is very happy with him. The fans are very happy. I think that everyone should be very happy.”

With Flamini sounding upbeat of this whole incident and looking optimistic about Wilshere’s future, do you agree with the Frenchman? Will Wilshere be one of the best midfielders for club and country for many years to come?
