Denis Zakaria
Another player who has been on Arsenal’s radar, the Swiss international has been in good form for Borussia Monchengladbach this season.
The parallels with Xhaka may appear inauspicious, but Zakaria is a different type of player. He is more in the “Vieira” mould, an excellent tackler, very difficult to dispossess and can make lung bursting runs forward with the ball.
