Arsenal were good value for the three points as they came out 1-0 winners over Manchester United. The Gunners controlled the game for the most part and the only disappointment manager Mikel Arteta may have had is that they didn’t score more goals.
The result also ends a long wait for a win away at a ‘big six’ club and fans will be hoping that it is a sign of things to come, with progress being made towards competing at the top of the table once more.
It was a very professional performance from the away side, who pressed high and made life difficult for their opponents, who rarely looked like scoring on their own patch.
