2) Gabriel shines on his debut
The opening few minutes did not look too promising for the Brazilian as miscommunication with Bernd Leno could have led to an early goal for Fulham. There were also quite a few misplaced passes as he struggled to get up to speed.
However, as the game wore on, he grew in confidence. He showed some excellent passing with his left foot and demostrated his aerial ability, both defensively and in the opponent’s box when he scored from a corner.
