Arsenal are aware that there are other clubs “ready to start negotiations” to sign Youri Tielemans but it hasn’t forced them into stepping up their plans to snap up the Leicester player, according to Fabrizio Romano.
The Italian journalist says the Gunners have held a number of conversations with the Belgian international’s agent but they have not tabled an official offer. With the club currently focused on deals to sign Gabriel Jesus and Raphinha, the move for Tielemans is on the backburner, and Romano believes that it could lead to the midfielder moving elsewhere:

Manchester United, Tottenham and Liverpool are the teams that have been mentioned as having an interest in Tielemans previously but it’s safe to say that all three clubs do have other priorities at the moment.
While United are trying to conclude a deal for Barcelona’s Frenkie de Jong, Spurs have already signed Yves Bissouma so they are seeking reinforcements in other areas. Liverpool, on the other hand, are on the lookout for a midfielder but it is believed they are waiting until next summer before making a move for Borussia Dortmund’s Jude Bellingham.
