15 Arsenal players have been called up to international duty for the next two weeks before the Gunners return.
Mikel Arteta will be delighted as his side go into the international break at the top of the Premier League table, having won their last two games in the Premier League.
They beat West Ham 2-0 over the weekend thanks to goals from Bukayo Saka and Declan Rice, and will now hope their players all stay fit during the break ready to return against Fulham on October 18.
But who has been called up for international duty, and when will they play over the next two weeks?
England – Bukayo Saka, Declan Rice, Eberechi Eze, Myles Lewis-Skelly
Thomas Tuchel has somewhat decimated the Arsenal squad by selecting four of their best players. He likely would have picked Noni Madueke too if he wasn’t injured.
09/10/25 – England vs Wales
14/10/25 – Latvia vs England
Spain – Mikel Merino, Martin Zubimendi, David Raya
Arteta’s reliance on Spanish stars continues too, as he will see three Spain internationals leaving for duty this week. During the last break, Merino scored a hat trick for his national team.
11/10/25 – Spain vs Georgia
14/10/25 – Bulgaria vs Spain
Netherlands – Jurrien Timber
Timber has perhaps had the best run of games for Arsenal since he joined, as he has become a reliable right-back option for Arteta.
09/10/25 – Malta vs Netherlands
12/10/25 – Netherlands vs Malta
Sweden – Viktor Gyokeres
Gyokeres is having somewhat of a goal drought for Arsenal, but his form for the national team has always been superb.
10/10/25 – Sweden vs Switzerland
13/10/25 – Sweden vs Kosovo
France – William Saliba
This will be Saliba’s first international break since he signed a new contract at Arsenal, securing his future at the Emirates.
10/10/25 – France vs Azerbaijan
13/10/25 – Iceland vs France
Belgium – Leandro Trossard
Trossard has been playing more often in the last few games for Arsenal, still showing that he is a valuable player. He will hope to continue his form for the Belgian national side.
10/10/25 – Belgium vs North Macedonia
13/10/25 – Wales vs Belgium
Brazil – Gabriel, Gabriel Martinelli
Both of Arsenal’s Gabriels have been called up for the Brazil national team to play under Carlo Ancelotti for the first time.
10/10/25 – South Korea vs Brazil
14/10/25 – Japan vs Brazil
Italy – Riccardo Calafiori
Calafiori has been excellent in the early part of the season, managing to usurp Myles Lewis-Skelly in the left-back position.
11/10/25 – Estonia vs Italy
14/10/25 – Italy vs Israel
Denmark – Christian Norgaard
Finally, Arsenal now have a Danish international as Norgaard joined in the summer to add much needed depth to the midfield.
