Everton V Arsenal – Team News And Predicted XI Plus Betting Odds

After a comfortable 2-0 win against Newcastle on Monday, Arsenal will face Everton this weekend in confident mood.

The Gunners have been superb at home this season but their away form will need to improve if they are to clinch a top-four spot so a trip to Goodison Park will be a major test.

Everton are coming off the back of two consecutive wins against Chelsea and West Ham and will want to make it a hat-trick of victories against London clubs.

For Arsenal, manager Unai Emery has three injury doubts heading into the game. Granit Xhaka (groin) and Laurent Koscielny (foot) will face late fitness tests after missing the game against the Magpies.

Aaron Ramsey had to come off with cramp on Monday, and although he is expected to return for the weekend, he may not be fit to start.

Danny Welbeck is back on the training pitch following his recovery from a broken ankle. The 28-year-old has started training with a ball, but he’s unlikely to play again this season.

Rob Holding and Hector Bellerin are long-term absentees with both undergoing rehabilitation following knee injuries. The pair are targeting the start of next campaign for their return. Lucas Torreira will also serve the final game of his three-match ban.

Arsenal’s Predicted XI To Face Everton:

Leno, Maitland-Niles, Sokratis, Mustafi, Monreal, Kolasinac, Guendouzi, Elneny, Ozil, Aubameyang, Lacazette

Everton only have one injury concern heading into the match. Yerry Mina is suffering with a hamstring injury and is unlikely to feature against the Gunners.

Everton’s Predicted XI:

Pickford, Coleman, Zouma, Keane, Digne, Gueye, Gomes, Richarlison, Sigurdsson, Bernard, Calvert-Lewin.

At the bookies, Arsenal are the favourites and are currently 13/10 at William Hill. A draw is best priced at 11/4 with Unibet while an Everton victory is 11/5 at Betfred.

Predicted Score – 2-1 to Arsenal
