Inter Milan attacking midfielder Christian Eriksen is not a priority target for Arsenal, according to FCInterNews.it.
There have been reports in Italy in recent days claiming that the Gunners were seriously considering a bid for the former Tottenham player, but it is believed that the London club have two other players in mind first.
Lyon’s Houssem Aouar is still thought to be top of the list, although the Frenchman’s asking price is likely to be too steep. That has led to Arsenal switching their attention to Red Bull Salzburg’s Dominik Szoboszlai.
The Hungarian has a release clause of €25m (£22m) but that has attracted interest from a number of other teams, including Premier League sides Liverpool, Manchester United, Tottenham, Everton, Wolves and Leicester City.
It seems it will be only if they lose out on Szoboszlai that they will turn their sights towards Eriksen. FCInterNews report that the Gunners have contacted the Dane’s agent Martin Schoots, along with Atletico Madrid, but they have only made an enquiry at this stage.
