Unai Emery may consider taking Dani Ceballos to AC Milan if he is appointed manager of the Rossoneri, according to Estadio Deportivo.

The Spanish newspaper claims the former Arsenal manager is in the frame to take over from Stefano Pioli at the San Siro when the season ends.

He may then use his good relationship with Ceballos to persuade him to leave Real Madrid at the start of next campaign.

Arsenal don’t have a purchase option in the 23-year-old’s contract, which was reportedly at the midfielder’s request.

If the Gunners are unable to sign him on a permanent basis, he will return to the Bernabeu and could well end up being sent out on loan once again if he still isn’t in Real boss Zinedine Zidane’s first-team plans.
