Dortmund Circling Gnabry

Dortmund Circling Gnabry

Arsenal might lose one of their most promising players as Dortmund is closely monitoring the Germany U19 winger, Serge Gnabry. Klopp has expressed his interest in the Gunner even since the summer but no official offer has come Wenger’s way.

According to the Daily Mail, Dortmund’s recent performances have forced the German manager to push for a transfer before the end of the month. It is very unlikely to see the two sides reaching an agreement this winter. With Walcott’s 6 month absence and with little alternatives currently available on the market, Wenger could get himself in quite a predicament after letting Gnabry go.

The 18 year old who spent most of his youth career with Vfb Stuttgart appears to be part of Arsenal’s future. He has already made 6 appearances for the Gunners and has scored once since 2012. He has played at least once a month since the beginning of the 2013-2014 season and last came in as a substitute against City.

Wenger will need all the help he can get especially considering Arsenal’s not so thick squad. It is very probable that Gnabry will become the Frenchman’s first choice for the right winger position until the Ox returns. With that in mind it is very hard to believe the German U19 international will leave for Dortmund this winter.
