Despite Some Poor Results Arsenal Still in The Hunt For Silverware And More Plus Liverpool Match Prediction

With Chelsea having run away with the title long ago, Wenger’s attention will turn to the chasing pack, with just Liverpool and Tottenham in action this weekend. Jurgen Klopp’s side face the now manager-less Leicester City on Monday night where, given the Reds’ recent form and the unpredictability of what a manager leaving can do to a squad, anything could happen.

Furthermore, after their horror show at Wembley against Gent on Thursday night, Spurs will be low on confidence going into their tough clash with Mark Hughes’ Stoke City side, meaning that clash in no longer the formality it may have scene. Should results go Arsenal’s way this weekend, leaving them well in the mix at the top, then next weekend’s visit to Anfield presents a chance, not only to avenge an opening day 4-3 defeat, but to make a real statement ahead of their Premier League run-in after a disastrous few weeks. Therefore, whilst there will be little for those on Arsenal Fan TV to shout about this weekend, I’m sure they’ll find something, Gunners fans may be much happier about the side’s standing come the final whistle in Leicester on Monday night.

Regarding injuries and suspensions, Arsenal are in relatively good shape: only Santi Cazorla is basically out for the season and is not expected back until July with his major achilles problem which a major downer for the club as his contract ends but both parties have agreed to extend the deal for another year  with the hope that the equisite player can recover and can deliver like he did when was performing at the top of his game prior to getting pulled because of his injury,

We see a tight game Gunners but they are over due a top performance when they face Liverpool on Saturday March 4th and we fully expect Arsenal to come away with all 3 points as they will have had lots of time to prepare for the Saints and despite missing the solid Mohamed Elneny with an ankle injury and key man Aaron Ramsey with a calf-strain until mid-march we think Arsenal will be too tough as they have too much to play for somm.

Let us know what you think in the comments beow but after such a rough patch we think the only way is up!
