Arsenal midfielder Dani Ceballos won’t be in action again until at least mid-December due to a hamstring injury, the club have confirmed.
The Spaniard picked up the problem before the international break when he had to come off 10 minutes into the second half of the 1-1 draw against Vitoria Guimaraes. He took to Twitter yesterday to signal his determination to get back to full fitness as quickly as possible:
?⚪️I have already started to work on recovering from this injury. I will miss my mates and Gunner supporters during these weeks. But I will be back stronger and with all the energy to help the team. My best version is yet to come. ??I know. ❤ for this club.@Arsenal #Gunners pic.twitter.com/R2hsxKq2KA

The 23-year-old’s absence will be a blow to manager Unai Emery. He is expected to miss the games against Eintracht Frankfurt next week, Norwich, Brighton, West Ham and Standard Liege.
Ceballos may also be a doubt for the huge clash against Manchester City next month, which is played at the Emirates on December 15th. Including today’s game against Southampton, then, he could miss seven games in total which will not be welcomed by Gunners supporters.
