Charles Watts Claims Arsenal Have “Sounded Out” The Representatives Of 68M Rated Brazilian Star

Arsenal have “sounded out” the agents of Everton forward Richarlison in “recent weeks”, according to Goal‘s Gunners correspondent Charles Watts.

The journalist believes that the Brazilian international is just one of a number of strikers that the London club are keeping tabs on, along with the likes of Manchester City’s Gabriel Jesus, Napoli’s Victor Osimhen, Everton’s Dominic Calvert-Lewin and Roma’s Tammy Abraham.

Reports in Brazil last month revealed that Everton are holding out for around €80m (£68m) to sell Richarlison this summer, with Manchester United, Tottenham and Newcastle all thought to be interested in the player.

Since then, another journalist Dean Jones has said that Richarlison is also on Arsenal’s radar, and this latest claim from Watts does appear to corroborate the story.

At the moment, Gabriel Jesus looks to be the number one target, with the City forward believed to be pressing for a move away from the Etihad. With just a year left on his contract, he would cost a lot less than Richarlison as well.
