Crystal Palace winger Wilfried Zaha is very interested in joining Arsenal, but the Gunners are struggling to come up with the funds to sign him, according to the Times.
The London club have only £45m to spend this summer and would need to offload some players to finance the deal.
However, it appears that Arsenal are struggling to find buyers for those they are willing to sell, and they may find it hard to match Palace’s £80m asking price for Zaha.
Fans on Twitter don’t think a move for the Ivorian international is realistic:
Can we start GoFundMe ?

Anything above 50m would be horrible mismanagement if we have a tight budget

While some supporters believe the Gunners have a bigger budget than they are letting on:
Who actually still believes we have a 45m budget we wouldn’t leak it like that

If we had only 45m we wouldn't even bother being interested.

With the club in protracted negotiations with Celtic to match Kieran Tierney’s £25m valuation, it does appear a move for Zaha is a long way off from happening.
Offloading unwanted stars such as Mesut Ozil and Henrikh Mkhitaryan would be the best solution, but so far it seems there have been no takers for the duo.
