Arsenal are interested in signing Norwich City’s teenage right-back Max Aarons for £15m, according to reports in the English media.
The 18-year-old has played a key role in the Canaries’ challenge for automatic promotion this season despite his young age.
Fans on Twitter think a move for Aarons could be a good idea although they believe other areas of the pitch are the priority in the January transfer window:
Can he be our Robertson

Better than litchsteiner but a cb should be number 1 priority

Good player, next 2-3 years could be very good, young and makes quite a few mistakes at the minute

Would welcome this signing

What’s the point in that?

Ridiculous £15m for a right back for 5 years time. Buy a centre back.

we don’t need another right back, bellerin is enough. try to find cd, lb, cm, right & left winger #Arsenal

Targeting young players is something that Director of Football Raul Sanllehi and Head of Recruitment Sven Mislintat are said to be keen on doing.
Aarons has shown he is a talented player whilst playing for Norwich this campaign, and the fact he is a regular first team player despite only making his senior debut back in August demonstrates he has excellent raw ability.
He’s also playing in a side that are encouraged to pass the ball out from the back, as well as playing a high pressing game, which fits perfectly with Unai Emery’s style of play.
