Campbell Expected To Leave This Winter

Joel Campbell is quickly becoming one of the most sought after players in Europe. With few great players being available during the winter, Campbell is on the top of many teams’ wanted lists. He was repeatedly linked to several important clubs even since last summer. Wenger decided to keep him close though and decided to stop sending the Costa Rican on loan. The young striker also sorted out his visa troubles and finally had the chance to play in the Premier League. Unfortunately for him, he failed to keep up the form he showed during the World Cup. Campbell impressed while playing on the right side of the pitch while performing for his national team. He played so well, Wenger decided to give him a chance. Things have not gone that well for the youngster however as the 22 year old has only managed to play a few minutes for Arsenal in the League and after being knocked out of the Capital One Cup early on his opportunities have been virtually non-existent.

After Liverpool expressed their fondness for Campbell, it is Inter’s turn to come up with an offer. They have been linked to the winger on several occasions earlier in the season but nothing turned out to be true. Currently, the Italians look determined to make a proper offer for a loan deal with the possibility of signing Campbell for good. Hopefully the Costa Rican will find his place. According to TalkSport, Inter and Spurs are interested in the forward but it is hard to see Wenger allowing Campbell to join North London rivals Tottenham Hotspur.
