Arsenal striker Eddie Nketiah scored a hat-trick as the Gunners came out 6-0 winners over Championship side Charlton Athletic in a friendly yesterday afternoon.

The 21-year-old scored his first after a goalmouth scramble. He then finished with aplomb in a one-on-one before getting his third after scoring a header from a Joe Willock delivery.

Supporters are very happy Nketiah has returned to action in such good form and they are hoping he can replicate that performance when they play Manchester City in ten days time:

Nketiah has certainly impressed since Arsenal opted to recall him from his loan spell at Leeds in January. Head coach Mikel Arteta has selected him in seven games since being appointed, with the striker having bagged three goals.

That’s a pretty impressive return and it will be interesting to see whether he gets a start ahead of Alexandre Lacazette at the Etihad when the season resumes.
