Burnley V Arsenal: Match Preview, Team News And Betting Odds

After getting a much-needed victory against Norwich last weekend, Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta will be keen to get two wins on the bounce when they travel to Turf Moor on Saturday.

Burnley have picked up just one point from their opening four matches, having lost to Brighton and drawn with Leeds in their two home games so far. This should, therefore, be a winnable fixture for the Gunners.

In terms of team news, Rob Holding is a doubt due to a knee injury, while Mohamed Elneny is still recovering from a hamstring strain and won’t be available on Saturday.

Granit Xhaka will be absent due to suspension after being sent off in the 5-0 defeat to Manchester City. The Swiss had also picked up the virus but he is back in full training this week after completing quarantine.

Clarets boss Sean Dyche could have defender Nathan Collins back in contention, but Connor Roberts (groin), Dale Stephens (ankle) and Kevin Long (calf) are all still on the sidelines.

The bookmakers have made Arsenal the favourites with Betfred pricing them at 21/20 for the win. A draw is currently 13/5 with Bet 365 while a victory for Burnley is 29/10 at Unibet.

Predicted Score – 1-1
