Goalkeeper and Defence
GK – David Raya – had an impressive international break, helping Spain to two wins and two clean sheets.
RB – Jurrien Timber – as the Dutchman didn’t go on international duty, there are some doubts about his fitness but it is believed that the Gunners are simply trying to manage his workload.
CB – William Saliba – had a difficult night for France against Belgium on Monday evening, but he always looks assured in an Arsenal shirt.
CB – Gabriel – the defender has flown back to the UK but, due to playing early on Wednesday morning, he won’t return to training until the day before the Bournemouth fixture. Not ideal.
LB – Riccardo Calafiori – the Italian is set to keep his place on the left-hand side of defence.
