The Spaniard’s confidence should be sky-high after his performance against Porto.
After a rather shaky start to life at the Emirates, Raya has come into his own over the past few weeks.
Against City earlier in the season, he was very nervous, misplacing passes and making rash decisions, but he has grown in confidence since then.
Raya’s ability to distribute the ball to teammates should help alleviate the pressure on Sunday when Pep Guardiola’s team will try to turn the screw with their high pressing.
