Arsenal winger Reiss Nelson scored the seventh goal of his loan spell at Hoffenheim at the weekend.
The 19-year-old headed in from short range to make it 2-0 in the home win against Hertha Berlin yesterday.
Some supporters on Twitter are calling on Unai Emery to make sure Nelson is part of the first team setup next season:
Emery pls bring him back!

Fills in the spot of a much needed winger.

I’d rather we play the likes of Nelson, Willock and Smith-Rowe next season and spend the money on top class defenders.

Better than Iwobi.

A goal every 95 mins that’s really good

Him, Amaechi, Saka and Smith-Rowe are the only reason why I feel investing in a winger might not be right to do. I am most probably too soon to put too much faith in those four youngsters, but for some reason my gut feeling says that this gamble might work in our favour.

Others are not so sure:
Nelson is still young and has a lot to prove before playing for the first team at Arsenal. I would leave him on loan and bring his Hoffenheim team mate Nadiem Amiri to the Emirates. He’s probably Hoffenheims best player and the Gunners could prob pick him up for around £15-£20m.

Id bring him back over iwobi. But reiss needs to play. A season back at arsenal as a sub and cup games is no good. Id look to loan him to a prem team where he will play. Newcastle under benitez or leeds if they come up

I would send him out on loan again.

The teenager has certainly had a decent campaign for Hoffenheim, with a hot streak of five goals in five games coming back in October and November.
However, since then, Nelson has struggled for both fitness and game time. The midfielder has had back problems and missed two games recently due to a thigh injury.
Hoffenheim manager Julian Nagelsmann even omitted him from the squad for the Nuremberg game last month due to disciplinary issues.
It hasn’t all been plain sailing for Nelson then, but the form he has shown certainly makes him a good candidate to come back and provide an option on the wing next campaign.
