“Brilliant” Arsenal Star Linked With Shock Summer Exit Along With Five Other Players

Arsenal midfielder Granit Xhaka could leave the Emirates at the end of the season, according to The Times reporter Gary Jacob.

The journalist claims the Gunners are planning a major overhaul of the squad in the summer, with Xhaka likely to be one of the main casualties:

Xhaka, who was described as “brilliant” by BBC pundit Micah Richards after Arsenal’s win over Leicester in August, has had an excellent season for the London club.

However, Jacob believes Xhaka could be heading for the exit door, along with five other members of the senior squad.

Kieran Tierney is expected to depart the Emirates, along with three loanees, Albert Sambi Lokonga (who is currently at Crystal Palace), Nuno Tavares (Marseille) and Folarin Balogun (Reims). There is even some talk that Emile Smith Rowe may also be sold.

We shall have to wait and see whether Jacob’s information is backed up by other sources.
