Bit Too Early For Arsenal Move – Draxler Warned!

Draxler’s move to Arsenal has been very well documented all along with way, as reports suggest that he is due to join the London outfit in the coming days, or latest by the summer. He is understood to lead Wenger’s list of transfer targets, and the French manager is now pulling out all the stops in his attempts to sign him before the window slams shut.

Draxler himself is keen for a switch to the Emirates Stadium and link up with his fellow German compatriots Mesut Ozil, Per Mertesacker, Lukas Podolski and Serge Gnabry. He has spoken about his desire to play for the English league leaders previously, and a deal is very much touted in the coming days.

As everything looks promising for Arsenal and Draxler, the 20-year old has now been warned by Schalke’s Chief executive Clemens Tonnies who feels that the midfielder is rushing into his move. He feels that the time is not right yet for him to make his big move abroad, and that he should continue developing himself at Schalke, as reported by Metro.

He spoke to the press where he was quoted as saying, “I am of the opinion that Julian should play for Schalke next season,”

“It is best for his development when he can play without much pressure and with a clear mind. Looking back, at the start of the season he was under a lot of pressure then and the exact same thing will happen again if he moves.”

With Tonnies giving a word of advise to Draxler, do you think he will take it into consideration when making his final decision?
