Kolo Toure
One half of the immovable centre-back pairing during Arsenal’s Invincibles campaign, Kolo Toure may not have been the most technical of defenders – but he made up for it with pace, power and pure determination.
He loved to carry the ball through the middle of the park – teams were often left stunned when Toure decided to go on a midfield adventure with the ball at his feet.
Outside of Arsenal, Kolo Toure played a host of other reputable clubs, such as Liverpool, Manchester City and Celtic.
