The defender who has made a good impression this season, has all the reasons in the world to extend his stay at Emirates given the fact that he seems to have become one of Wenger’s favorites. Even though competition will be tough, Bellerin seems more than capable of handling it. Extending the right-back’s contract means changes will be made as far as the lot goes. Calum Chambers will become a third option or will be reassigned to playing as a center back and Jenkinson will probably be sold. Debuchy is currently the number one pick for Wenger, as long as he is not suffering from health problems.

Bellerin is not the only Spaniard getting an extension.
