Bad Boy Balotelli To Return To England?

Milan have endured a horrendous season which has seen them slip down to seventh in the table having already suffered 12 league losses. A brief revival took place as they won five games in a row under new manager Clarence Seedorf, but they suffered a 2-0 defeat at the hands of AS Roma this past Friday.

Balotelli was substituted during the defeat and he reacted angrily when Giancarlo Marocchi, Sky Sport Italia pundit, suggested that he wasn’t a top player.

According to the Express, Balotelli said, “You don’t understand anything about football. Trust me, you really don’t. It isn’t nice? I don’t care. I don’t care. I never said I’m a top player. I am a perfectly normal player, it will take time to become world class, but the reasons why I am not a top player are not the same reasons you think.”

He added, “You always talk about me. When Milan win Mario’s great, when Milan lose it’s all Mario’s fault. You expect me to score five goals a game. I don’t need your criticism, I make my own criticism.”

The former Manchester City forward has been linked with a move back to England with Arsenal and Spurs reportedly vying for his signature. Gunners boss Arsene Wenger wants to sign a new quality forward and Balotelli could be the perfect fit due to his previous experience in the Premier League.
