Aurier Set To Take Sagna’s Place

Aurier Set To Take Sagna’s Place

Arsenal seem set on letting Sagna go after the Frenchman has insisted on a considerable salary increase. The right-back who has been back and forth on his transfer even since last year, and looks set not to cave in to Wenger’s offers. Even so, The Gunners have already found a replacement who according to talkSPORT, is more than capable of becoming even better than Sagna. Arsenal’s 21 year old target comes from France. Toulouse’s Serge Aurier who is one of the most sought after right-backs in Europe, is set on joining Arsenal sometime soon.

Aurier has already declared his admiration for Arsenal. All that needs to be done is for the clubs to reach an agreement. Despite lacking in experience, the Ivorian seems more than capable of making up for that with his amazing skill and endless determination. Unlike Sagna, the 21 year old is also a decent scorer. He would come in handy for the Gunners who since losing Vermaelen to injury, have yet to find a defender with such great scoring skills similar to the Belgian.

The Ivorian has incredible potential which would make him the perfect fit for Wenger’s side. The Frenchman is well-known for his ability to create stars right from an early age. Aurier has the talent but up tp now has perhaps lacked the best guidance. His move to North London might end up benefiting both sides. Hopefully Arsenal’s manager will make a move as soon as possible in order to avoid last summer’s situation when the Gunners barely managed to transfer Ozil on the last day.
