Aubameyang and Luiz Start, Mustafi And Nketiah Out: Arsenal’s Predicted XI To Face Burnley

Arsenal will be able to welcome back both captain Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang and David Luiz from suspension when they travel to face Burnley at Turf Moor tomorrow.

Luiz will likely come in for the injured Shkodran Mustafi with new signing Pablo Mari unlikely to feature. The Spaniard last played a competitive match in the Club World Cup final in mid-December.

The Gunners’ other new signing Cedric Soares is also sidelined with a knee injury so Hector Bellerin will start at right-back, with Bukayo Saka keeping his place on the left-hand side of defence.

In midfield, Mesut Ozil is expected to come back into the side after being rested in the FA Cup win over Bournemouth. Lucas Torreira may also return to the starting eleven in place of Matteo Guendouzi.

Despite scoring against the Cherries, Eddie Nketiah will likely have to make way for the returning Aubameyang, with Gabriel Martinelli and Nicolas Pepe playing either side of of the Gabonese striker.
