Arsenal are willing to sell defender Shkodran Mustafi for just €10m (£9m) when the transfer window reopens, according to Todofichajes.com.
The Spanish website claims the 28-year-old is not part of manager Mikel Arteta’s plans and he will be offloaded at the first opportunity.
Mustafi has only one year left on his current deal and, combined with the financial impact of the global health crisis, the Gunners will have to take a substantial hit on the £35m they paid Valencia four years ago for the player.
At the moment, there appears to be only one major suitor for the German, with AC Milan said to be keeping tabs on the centre-back.
The Rossoneri are looking to reinforce their backline this summer and Mustafi’s name has reportedly been added to a list of transfer targets.
During his time at the Emirates, the centre-half has struggled with consistency and it appears Arsenal have now decided to cut their losses.
