Arsenal’s Players Pushed To The Limit

The Gunners have to recover after two very demanding games against Chelsea and Liverpool. Their next fixture is in three days when they will face Dortmund in the Champions League group stages. Two of Arsenal’s most important players are uncertain after injuries started affecting Wneger’s players just like in the past few seasons. Wilshere was rested against Liverpool because of an ankle problem which is probably not going to be solved until after the clash against the German side. Gibbs is unavailable after suffering calf pains 70 minutes into Arsenal’s last Premier League clash.

Wenger looked a bit concerned for what is to come. Besides Dortmund, The Gunners also have to face Manchester United on the 10th of November. Arsenal have a tough program ahead of them and even if they were eliminated from the Capital One Cup, they still have to play once every 3 or 4 days. According to the Daily Mail, the Frenchman was very happy with the way his team performed but has a hard time putting together a team which can compete against teams like Chelsea or City.

It was pretty obvious that Arsenal’s second team was no match for the Blues during the Capital One Cup. Hopefully Wenger will be able to count on all of his important players for the next Premier League matches which are not going to be easy. The Gunners still have to face City and Chelsea before the end of the year. Both of those teams are direct candidates for winning the Premier League trophy.

Wenger was happy with the way his team responded after two harsh defeats at home against Dortmund and Chelsea. The win against Liverpool is a clear sign of character from the Gunners who might finally end their trophy drought which will reach 9 years at the end of this season. The Frenchman also spoke about Ramsey’s great form who has managed several high-impact games since the beginning of the season. Hopefully for the fans, he will keep his form against Dortmund and will manage to score again.
