Arsenal’s Players Crack Under Pressure

According to Metro, Podolski and Thomas Rosicky had a heated argument after Arsenal’s clash against Bayern. Apparently the two got into a fight just as the final whistle was blown. Even though nothing noticeable happened, the press could not help observe the incident which is not the first of its kind.

It seems that losing to Bayern had quite the negative effect on the group’s dynamic. During the first leg, Ozil and Flamini also took part in an argument which was a bit more physical than the one between Podolski and Rosicky.

Arsenal’s most expensive transfer was also involved in another bizarre moment which included Mertesacker. None of these incidents blew up though and Wenger is probably the man to thank. Despite having to deal with incredible pressure after failing to win a trophy over the past number of years, he still manages to calm spirits no matter the situation.

The Gunners who are missing several of their key players, have to handle more stress than any of their Premier League rivals. The trophy drought which seemed like it would end this season could carry on for yet another year as Arsenal lost first place in the domestic competition and got knocked out of the Champions League.

Nerves are bound to fray as fans expect their team to finally win something this year. Unfortunately Wenger has to constantly deal with injuries which indirectly increase the pressure for all the other players who have to give their all day after day. Hopefully things will settle down in the near future.
