Arsenal’s Nine Figure Summer Transfer Budget Revealed As Club Eye TWO Midfielders

Arsenal will have £150m to spend on new signings ahead of the next transfer window, according to FootballTransfers.com.

The website claims that the nine-figure sum will be made available to sporting director Edu and the recruitment staff as the Gunners look to reinforce their squad for the 2023/24 season.

It is believed that Mikel Arteta’s side will be looking to recruit two midfielders, with Brighton’s Moises Caicedo and West Ham’s Declan Rice seen as the main targets.

Caicedo was the subject of two bids from Arsenal in January but it looks as if another attempt will be made for the Ecuadorian international, who is also being pursued by Chelsea, Liverpool and Manchester United.

Rice, meanwhile, is expected to leave the Hammers at the end of the campaign, with Chelsea and United again likely to be the Gunners’ main rivals for the England star.

Whether the £150m budget will be satisfactory to snap up both Caicedo and Rice, it is unlikely, so sales may also be required to secure the pair’s signatures.
