The Spaniard developed his game at Barcelona’s famed La Masia youth academy before moving to the Gunners in July 2018.
Lopez is a left-back by trade and he has impressed in Per Mertesacker’s youth setup over the past 18 months. The 18-year-old was even named in the Europa League squad at the start of the campaign but he has yet to make his senior debut.
