Arsenal’s Move For £54.3m Rated Brazilian Ace In Doubt Despite Player Asking To Leave

Arsenal are not close to making an offer for Brazilian winger Malcom, according to Mundo Deportivo.

The Brazilian’s representative has told the club that his client wants to leave following the arrival of Antoine Griezmann from Atletico Madrid.

However, it is believed that neither Barca nor the player have received any proposals regarding a sale.

Reports in England had suggested that the Gunners were lining up a move for Malcom, but Mundo Deportivo‘s sources dismissed those claims.

Barcelona are said to be only willing to sell for €60m (£54.3m) which would be well out of Arsenal’s price range.

There is still some hope for the London club, though, with the La Liga champions reportedly open to any offers, even a loan move if a permanent switch cannot be agreed before the end of the transfer window.

In addition to the Gunners, it is believed both Tottenham and Everton are also interested in signing Malcom.
