Arsenal have all but confirmed the signing of Jurrien Timber from Ajax following a leaked photo on the club’s website.
The Gunners are set to confirm two new arrivals at Emirates Stadium in the coming days, as their summer transfer spending surpasses £200million.
West Ham midfielder Declan Rice will be joining Mikel Arteta’s side for a fee in the region of £105million, while Timber arrives for £38.5million plus bonuses.
An eagle-eyed Arsenal fan on social media spotted the leak on Wednesday, which showed Timber’s squad photo behind the coding of the club’s official website.
It looks like the Timber announcement is imminent.
Thanks to @MaxTheLantern for pointing it out.https://t.co/LPF2P3QB4F
The coding is there for the website, if you change Timber's name to anyone else it comes up with their image. pic.twitter.com/vNaAu75feG
