Arsenal’s Dependance On Sanchez Clear

Arsenal depend on Alexis Sanchez for creating and scoring goals to a great extent, after stats showed the club would be in a lowly 17th place in the Barclays Premier League without the contributions of the Chilean forward, according to the Daily Mail.

The Gunners went into the international break on the back of a poor run of form, and the break comes as a welcome period for Arsene Wenger. However, the manager will be scared about his side’s ever-growing injury list as most of his players will be involved in fixtures with their respective national teams. The squad will return only to face their arch rivals Manchester United, who are facing similar problems, with many of their squad who are certainly not yet on the road to recovery in fact David De Gea and Daley Blind have been added to their injury list.

Sanchez made a big money move from Barcelona in the summer transfer window, and has been a big hit with the North London supporters. The attacker began his career with Cobreloa and then moved to Udinese in 2006. After two loan spells in South America as a Udinese player, he was scouted by Barcelona who signed him in 2011. Sanchez was a sensation at Nou Camp, and expectations were high with the likes of Lionel Messi in the ranks. After 88 appearances for the club, Arsenal were quick to sign him when the opportunity arose, and he is now their top scorer in the league and has been a revelation with his never-say-die/chase-lost-causes attitude which has endeared him to Gooners and his fellow Gunners alike.
