Ray Parlour
First up on our list is Ray Parlour – these days, he is best known for his exuberant howls on TalkSPORT, but he was a brilliant footballer in his day.
He wasn’t the highest scoring of wingers, as he found the back of the net just 22 times in 339 games – his ability to beat his man and whip in a cross is where he excelled.
While his playing time was limited for England, he remains an Arsenal icon nevertheless – he was an understated part of the famous ‘Invincibles’ outfit.
