Arsenal face a trip to Wolves this weekend as they look to get back to winning ways in the Premier League.
Mikel Arteta’s side won 3-0 in their last match which came in the Champions League against Croatian side Dinamo Zagreb.
They now face a Wolves side who have one player that Gunners fans will be familiar with…Matheus Cunha. He has been linked with a move to both Arsenal and Nottingham Forest this month.
The Gunners will look to close the gap to league leaders Liverpool to three points with a win over Wolves at Molineux on Saturday afternoon.
Wolves injury news
Vito Pereira’s side could be without up to five players against Arsenal on Saturday, as they look for their first Premier League win in four matches.
Firstly, they will be without centre-back Yerson Mosquera, and Enso Gonzalez, who both suffered season-ending knee injuries in October 2024.
Furthermore, striker Sasa Kalajdzic will also miss the game due to a knee injury that he suffered earlier in January. He is working to return, but likely won’t be available until March time.
Toti Gomes, who plays as a defender is a doubt for the game due to a hamstring injury that he has been dealing with, but could well be available for selection. Pereira said last week: “Toti is recovering well. I believe in one week, maybe [he will be ready]”
Finally, Boubacar Traore is back in training after recovering from a long-term knee injury, meaning it is unlikely, but he also could be available for the game against Arsenal depending on his fitness levels.

Arsenal injury news
The Gunners could be without six players against Wolves on Saturday, including five who are definitely unavailable for Mikel Arteta.
Firstly, Gabriel Jesus won’t be available, as he suffered a potentially season-ending ACL injury during the Gunners’ FA Cup defeat to Manchester United earlier in the month.
Bukayo Saka will also miss the game, as he continues to recover from a hamstring injury that he suffered around Christmas time. He likely won’t be back until March.
Meanwhile, William Saliba will also miss the game, as he is dealing with a hamstring injury. Arteta said earlier this week: “I hope so, yes [for the City game]. He is evolving well. The last few days, he was feeling much better already, but this game comes a little bit too early for him.”
He hopes that Saliba can be ready for Arsenal’s game against rivals Manchester City in early February. Ben White could also return for the City game, but he will miss the trip to Wolves on Saturday due to his knee injury.
Takehiro Tomiyasu has had an unlucky season with injuries, he was ready to return in November after being out since the summer, but suffered a set-back in his knee issue. He will also miss the Wolves match.
Finally, Myles Lewis-Skelly is a doubt for the game on Saturday after he suffered a knee injury during Arsenal’s 2-2 draw against Aston Villa. He underwent a scan, and is now unsure whether he will be able to return.
Arteta said: “He thought it was OK [vs Villa] – he finished the game and the next day it wasn’t bad. And then yesterday, he started the session, and he wasn’t feeling good, so we need some more tests. Hopefully, it’s nothing big.”
