Everything you need to know about this afternoons clash with West Ham United
Arsenal welcome West Ham United to the The Emirates this afternoon as Unai Emery looks for his first competitive win as manager.
The Gunners have endured a difficult start to the season, losing both of their opening games to Manchester City and Chelsea, meaning today’s fixture is a must win.
West Ham however will also be looking for a win themselves, having suffered at the hands of Liverpool and Bournemouth in their first two fixtures.
Emery however has already hinted he will not change too much as he goes in pursuit of his three points, with the Spaniard keen to continue implementing his distinct style of play at in North London.
Any changes are likely to be straight swaps, with the most like being Lucas Torreira, who could come in for his first Arsenal start in place of either Granit Xhaka or Mateo Guendouzi. Stephan Lichtsteiner or Nacho Monreal will replace Ainsley Maitland-Niles at left-back.
Petr Cech is likely to keep his number one jersey, while £20 million summer signing Bernd Leno remains on the bench.
Injury news
Ainsley Maitland-Niles is up for up to eight weeks having suffered a fractured leg against Chelsea last weekend, while Sead Kolasinac remains out with a knee injury. Long term absentee Lauren Koscielny is yet to return to November.
