Arsenal earned their first 2024/25 Champions League win with a 2-0 victory over French Ligue 1 side Paris Saint-Germain.
The Gunners took the lead after 20 minutes with a goal from Kai Havertz and then doubled their lead through Bukayo Saka after 35 minutes.
Saka’s goal came from a free kick which missed everybody in the box and ran on through to beat Gianluigi Donnarumma in the PSG goal.
It puts the Gunners on four points after two games in the Champions League which leaves them currently eighth in the league table.
It gives Mikel Arteta’s side three wins in a row in all competitions meaning they will be full of confidence before their next game on Saturday against a struggling Southampton side.
