We asked AI to predict the outcome of Arsenal vs Fulham this weekend which will be played at Craven Cottage.
The Gunners will return from the international break, hoping to continue their impressive recent form in the Premier League, as they currently sit top of the table, and remain as the favourites to walk away with the league title.
Arsenal will make the short trip to play against a Fulham side who are always a tricky test for any of the bigger Premier League sides. Marco Silva’s side have lost their last two games in the league however, and so the Gunners will certainly be heavy favourites against the Cottagers.
But what does AI think will happen on Saturday? We asked ChatGPT to predict the outcome of the game, and the goal scorers at Craven Cottage, and this is what it said…
AI prediction: Fulham 1-2 Arsenal
AI predicted that Arsenal would make it three Premier League wins in a row, and that Arteta’s side would keep their place at the top of the league table, and put the pressure on Liverpool again, with the Reds playing against rivals Manchester United on Sunday.
Amid the prediction that Arsenal would beat the Cottagers, AI also predicted that Bukayo Saka and Gabriel Martinelli would net both the goals for Arteta’s side. Interestingly, it chose not to predict that Gyokeres would score.
For Fulham, AI said that striker Raul Jimenez would score the home side’s goal, despite the fact that he is an injury doubt ahead of the game on Saturday afternoon.
Who could the Gunners be missing on Saturday?
The Gunners lost Martin Odegaard to injury recently as it was confirmed in reports that the Arsenal captain will be out until November with his knee injury.
It is a huge blow for the Gunners, especially because Odegaard’s recent form has looked to be back to his best. Arteta will likely replace him with Eberechi Eze or Mikel Merino.
In terms of other players out for Arsenal, Noni Madueke, Kai Havertz, and Gabriel Jesus remain unavailable, whereas centre-back Piero Hincapie could make a return should Arteta want to play him.
