Arsenal Vs Brighton: Match Preview And Injury News

Arsenal are set to take on surprise package Brighton and Hove Albion in their next Premier League game – can they keep the pressure on title favourites Manchester City?

Arsenal are set to be without Oleksandr Zinchenko, William Saliba, Takehiro Tomiyasu and Mohamed Elneny for their game against the Seagulls. Aside from this, the Gunners have no new injury concerns.

In their last Premier League game, Arsenal were victorious against Newcastle United at St. James’ Park, despite the Magpies enjoying most of the play. The Gunners were clinical on the day – their goals were scored by Martin Odegaard and an own goal by Fabian Schar.

Brighton, on the other hand, suffered a shocking heavy defeat against Everton in their last league game. Sean Dyche’s men soaked up the pressure that Brighton threw at them, while breaking with vicious precision. In the end, the scores ended at 5-1 – the Seagulls’ only goal of the evening was scored by Alexis Mac Allister.

When the two teams last came to blows, back on New Year’s Eve, Arsenal beat Brighton in an exciting 4-2 affair. The Gunners dominated the outing, despite Brighton’s valiance – Bukayo Saka, Martin Odegaard, Eddie Nketiah and Gabriel Martinelli all got their names on the scoresheet.
