Mosquera replaces the injured Saliba in defence

GK – Kepa Arrizabalaga – David Raya has been playing brilliantly, but he could get rested both to help with his fitness, and give Kepa a chance to play.

LB – Myles Lewis-Skelly – Riccardo Calafiori picked up a knock against Palace last time out, so Lewis-Skelly gets the start here.

CB – Gabriel – Gabriel will be hoping to add to his goals tally of two in all competitions so far this season.

CB – Cristhian Mosquera – Mosquera comes in to replace Saliba who picked up an injury against Crystal Palace.

RB – Ben White – White gets a chance to start here as Arteta gives Jurrien Timber a much needed rest.

Nwaneri comes into the Arsenal midfield

CDM – Martin Zubimendi – Zubimendi is set to start in the holding midfield role to replace the injured Declan Rice.

CM – Mikel Merino – Merino starts in midfield despite the fact that he has been starting games on the bench more recently.

CAM – Ethan Nwaneri – Nwaneri gets the start in attacking midfield to let Eberechi Eze have the chance to rest a bit after scoring against Palace.

Trossard replaces Martinelli on the left-wing

LW – Leandro Trossard – Trossard starts on the left with Gabriel Martinelli dealing with a knock that he picked up against Palace.

RW – Bukayo Saka – Seeing as Saka was subbed off after just 66 minutes against Palace, he should have plenty of energy to lead the Gunners on Wednesday.

ST – Viktor Gyokeres – Arteta could opt to rest Gyokeres, but he would probably rather get him firing at the Emirates again.
