Arsenal welcome Bournemouth to the Emirates on Saturday night, looking to get back to winning ways.
They come off a 1-0 defeat to Paris Saint-Germain in the Champions League, meaning that they will have to go to Paris next weekend and try to come back from the deficit, hoping to make their first final in the competition since 2009.
Before that, Mikel Arteta‘s side face a game against Bournemouth in the Premier League at the Emirates, as they hope to secure Champions League football next season.
The Gunners are currently second in the league, seven points ahead of Chelsea in fifth place (the last Champions League spot).
They will be without Kai Havertz, Jorginho, Riccardo Calafiori, Gabriel, Takehiro Tomiyasu and Gabriel Jesus, who are all injured ahead of the weekend. Havertz and Jorginho are hoping to return in the second leg against PSG, however it is a doubt at this stage.
Arsenal backed to beat the Cherries on Saturday
The Gunners will likely rotate their squad on Saturday in order to make sure they are at full fitness for the second leg against PSG. Despite that, they are the favourites to beat Bournemouth.
According to Oddschecker, they are 23/20 favourites to win on Saturday, giving them a 46.5% chance to beat Bournemouth.
The Cherries are backed to win at odds of 53/21 (28.4%) and a draw is backed at 27/10, which means there’s a 27% chance that the two sides will split the points on Saturday. We predict a 2-1 win for Arteta’s side.
