Arsenal Team News, Betting Odds And Where To Watch In Carabao Cup Clash Vs Bolton Wanderers

Arsenal face Bolton Wanderers on Wednesday night as they look to make it into the fourth round of the Carabao Cup for the second year running.

The Gunners’ record in the competition hasn’t been the best over the past few seasons as they haven’t reached past the fourth round since the 2021/22 season.

Despite that, they are heavy favourites this week against a Bolton Wanderers side who find themselves in League One after they lost in the playoff final last season to Oxford United.

Arsenal on the other hand come off the back of a 2-2 draw with Premier League rivals Manchester City in a game where the Gunners held the lead until the 97th minute.

Injuries have hit the Gunners hard with Mikel Merino, Martin Odegaard, Oleksandr Zinchenko and Takehiro Tomiyasu ruled out for tonight’s game.

Riccardo Calafiori, Jurrien Timber and Ben White are all also in doubt for the match against Bolton Wanderers. Click here to see our predicted XI for Mikel Arteta’s side.

Gunners given almost 90% chance to beat Bolton

The Gunners, unsurprisingly, are heavy favourites for Wednesday night’s clash against the Trotters. Despite likely a rotation to the squad, Mikel Arteta’s side will be expected to comfortably win.

According to Oddschecker, they are backed at 1/8 odds whereas a Bolton win is 23/1 and a draw 19/2. The Gunners are currently the second favourites to win the Carabao Cup at 8/1.

We predict a comfortable 3-0 win for the Gunners as they look to gain more momentum heading into their fixture with Leicester City in the Premier League this weekend.
