Arsenal V Wolves: Match Preview And Betting Odds

Arsenal manager Unai Emery said he was happy with some aspects of the performance against Liverpool in the Carabao Cup defeat last night, despite conceding five goals.

The Gunners will be hoping to get back to winning ways when they face Wolves this weekend. Nuno Espirito Santo’s side also lost to Aston Villa midweek but they go into Saturday’s game unbeaten in the league since their 5-2 defeat to Chelsea last month.

Arsenal have just one injury heading into the game, with Reiss Nelson unavailable as he continues his recovery from a knee injury he sustained against Standard Liege.

With the likes of Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang, Alexandre Lacazette and Nicolas Pepe all rested versus Liverpool, it is expected that all three will start on Saturday.

Wolves will be missing one of their key defenders in Willy Boly when they line up at the Emirates. The Frenchman has had surgery on a fractured leg and is only expected to return at the turn of the year.

Morgan Gibbs-White is also a major doubt for the game with the England Under 21 international currently suffering with a back problem.

At the bookies, 888 Sport have Arsenal as 10/13 odds-on favourites for the win. A draw is currently 3/1 at Sky Bet while a victory for Wolves is 18/5 with William Hill.

Predicted Score – 2-2
