Arsenal V Tottenham: Match Preview, Team News And Betting Odds

After a good win against Olympiakos, Arsenal will head into Sunday’s North London derby with a great deal of confidence.

However, they will be facing an in-form Spurs who have scored 20 goals in their last seven games in all competitions, with the likes of Harry Kane and Gareth Bale both hitting the back of the net regularly.

The Gunners could go into the match with a fully fit squad. Emile Smith Rowe had been suffering with a hip injury but he returned to the matchday squad for the Olympiakos game and came on in the second half.

However, Tottenham boss Jose Mourinho is sweating over the fitness of Kane, who suffered a knee injury in the 2-0 victory over Dinamo Zagreb last night. It isn’t believed to be a serious issue, though, and he is expected to be in the lineup this weekend.

The Lilywhites do have one other fitness concern ahead of the derby, with Giovani Lo Celso a doubt due to a back problem. The Argentine was set to return to action this week after two and a half months out with a hamstring injury but he is now touch and go for Sunday’s match at the Emirates.

The bookies have made Arsenal the slight favourites with Betfair pricing them at 8/5 for the win. A draw is 12/5 with Bet 365, while a victory for Tottenham is 15/8 at Betfred.

Predicted Score – 2-2
