Arsenal V Sheffield United: Match Preview And Betting Odds

Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta says he was frustrated by the team’s drop off in performance after a promising start in the 1-1 draw against Crystal Palace last time out.

The Gunners face Sheffield United on Saturday with the Blades currently four points above them in the table. Chris Wilder’s side recovered from back to back defeats against Manchester City and Liverpool by narrowly beating West Ham on Friday to move up to sixth in the table.

It will likely be a difficult match at the Emirates and Arteta could be without five players this weekend. Hector Bellerin (hamstring) and Lucas Torreira (muscular) are both doubts, while Calum Chambers (knee) and Kieran Tierney (shoulder) are out of contention.

Captain Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang is also unavailable as he serves a three-match suspension after his sending off against Palace.

Sheffield United have just two players out injured currently. Both are reserve goalkeepers with Michael Verrips (head) and Simon Moore (groin) doubts for Saturday’s game.

The bookies have Arsenal as the favourites with Betway pricing them at 17/20 for the win. A draw is currently 27/10 with Betfair while a Blades victory is 7/2 at the same bookmaker.

Predicted Score – 2-1 to Arsenal
