Arsenal V Leeds United: Match Preview, Team News And Betting Odds

Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta would have been very disappointed not to come away with any points from their last game against Aston Villa and he will be hoping to get back to winning ways versus Leeds on Sunday.

However, Marcelo Bielsa’s side are in good form with their win against Crystal Palace last time out moving them above the Gunners in the table. This won’t be an easy match to negotiate.

In terms of team news, Kieran Tierney is expected to return to the matchday squad after missing the last five games with a leg injury. Thomas Partey is a doubt after picking up another thigh problem against Villa.

David Luiz and Bernd Leno will be available after serving their one-match suspensions following their red cards in the 2-1 defeat to Wolves.

Leeds could have both Pablo Hernadez (muscular) and Kalvin Phillips (calf) back from injury, but Diego Llorente (muscular), Robin Koch (knee), Adam Forshaw (hip), Rodrigo (groin), Ian Poveda (ankle) and Gaetano Berardi (knee) are all on the treatment table.

The bookmakers have made Arsenal the favourites with Betway pricing them at 5/6 odds-on to win. A draw is 29/10 with William Hill while a Leeds victory is currently 13/4 at Unibet.

Predicted Score – 1-1
